WHO AM I?
I am a social impact consultant and photography enthusiast whose work bridges the worlds of systemic change and visual storytelling. Based in the United Kingdom but shaped by my upbringing in Hong Kong, I bring a cross-cultural lens to both my professional practice and creative pursuits.
My Journey:
- As a Senior Consultant at the Social Investment Consultancy (TSIC), I help organisations measure their social impact and advance their DEI commitments—transforming good intentions into meaningful outcomes
- My camera lens and consulting work are guided by the same purpose: to amplify voices and stroies that might otherwise go unheard
- Before moving to the UK, I was a Policy Research and Training Officer at Hong Kong’s Equal Opportunity Commission, where I co-authored research reports and guidelines on anti-sexual harassment, sexuality education and an Access to Justice Guide for deaf and hard-of-hearing people
- At Resolve Foundation, I led a Social Justice Fellowship that empowered grassroots leaders from marginalised backgrounds, witnessing firsthand how empowered communities create their own solutions
- During my time as a United Nations Volunteer in Laos, I learned that impactful development work requires humility, deep listening, and cultural respect
Education & Recognition:
- Master of Laws in Human Rights from the University of Hong Kong, where I explored the intersection of legal frameworks and social justice
- Bachelor of Social Science in Government and Public Administration with a minor in Anthropology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong
- Selected as one of 30 Civic Future Fellows 2024 by the Greater London Authority, collaborating with civic leaders to address pressing urban challenges
What Drives Me:
- I’m passionate about documentary and street photography as a way to connect with people and places, capturing authentic moments that tell stories beyond words
- The thread connecting all my work is a dedication to social justice, whether measured through frameworks or framed through a viewfinder
